FAQs
Tickets
What are service fees on my ticket?
Service fees are additional charges on top of the ticket price. They cover costs such as the ticketing system, payment processing, administration and ensuring that you can purchase a ticket safely.
Where can I buy tickets?
You need an (e-)ticket to visit concerts and club nights. You can buy tickets for our concerts and dance nights at the following locations:
• Via our website
• At Burgerweeshuis: at our box office before and during the start of the program.
You pay service costs per ticket. Prices as communicated on the website include these costs. When you buy a ticket, this is final.
How can I buy tickets?
On our website you can order tickets online 24/7. Click on ‘Tickets’ for a concert or club night in our agenda, select the number and type of tickets, add more tickets if necessary, and adjust your choice if necessary.
Continue to payment via iDEAL if you are satisfied. After payment you will receive your e-tickets by e-mail, which you can print out or show on your smartphone.
The unique barcode on your ticket will be scanned at the entrance of Burgerweeshuis. You must create a free account once to buy tickets.
CJP-pass?
Do you have a CJP pass? Then you can go to most concerts in Burgerweeshuis with a 50% discount. The pass is free for pupils and MBO students and costs only € 10 for the first year for people up to 30 years old.
You can apply for the pass here and check this page for more information about the Burgerweeshuis offer.
Reselling your ticket safely?
Only buy your tickets through the official sales point: Burgerweeshuis (Stager) and never pay more than the official ticket price. If a show is sold out, try to get tickets through Ticketswap.
Ticketswap uses Secure Swap, which invalidates a seller's old ticket and sends a completely new ticket to the buyer. In addition, you are assured of a fair price.
Burgerweeshuis works together with Ticketswap and this is the only safest way to take over tickets from someone. There are people and websites that offer tickets without our permission.
Tickets that you buy through this channel are often much more expensive and we do not give any guarantee for the validity of such tickets. More information about this topic can be found on the Weet Waar Je Koopt website.
What if a show is postponed or cancelled
It can happen that a show is moved or even canceled. You will be informed of this by Burgerweeshuis by email. If the new date does not suit you? Then you are entitled to a refund of your ticket(s). The email explains how this works.
In the event of cancellation of a show, you are always entitled to a refund of your ticket(s).
When is the box office open?
Our box office is open when there is a concert or club night. The opening hours can be seen on the homepage in the program overview. The box office is closed during office hours. Of course you can buy tickets online 24/7.
The show is sold out. Can I be put on a waiting list?
No, we do not have a waiting list. In this case, we refer you to Ticketswap. Here, tickets are offered in a safe way and you also pay a fair price.
